EDIT FEATURES ON PRODUCT VARIATIONS in backoffice

Dear enthusiasts and developers,

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION: a really important feature is required on backend of 1.7 (it was possibile on 1.6)

On backend, when I edit product variations, I can only add a new variation with wished features, but:
I CANNOT EDIT EXISTING COMBINATIONS.
(if i want a kind of variation i can only add a new one, copy and paste sku and ean... lame job)
I searched for modules that allow me to edit those, but anything yet.
If created it stay as it is.

is it possible on new versions you pay attention to this: EDIT FEATURES ON PRODUCT VARIATIONS
