Plain Me
MY bt email account was compromised a week ago, BT said they have corrected the problem. In the meantime my Prestashop account is getting loads and loads of spam which I can't seem to stop. I have deleted the BT email address used on the contact form but still getting lots of spam. HELP??
selectshop.at
Unfortunately your problem is not clear ? You are getting spam from Prestashop forum messenger or you are getting spam from your Shop contact form ?
Plain Me
Apologies for not clarifying the problem. The spam is coming from the contact form.
tuk66
Change friendly URL of the 'contact us' page at SEO & URL. For example, from contact-us to contact.

tuk66
https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/609900-spammer-bypasses-contact-form-captcha-no-effect Rewriting SEO URL for 'contact' together with .htaccess modification works for me.
selectshop.at
For me also the rewrite of contact form solved the problem. The problem here is that there is also a possibility of cloned forms which some spammer are using. Once your mail address is listed in spammer lists, you will receive spam. In this case add new mail account and let old used by spammers. TiaNex Shopping
alternately, you can ban these spammer ip address using iptables if you are system admin this is a solution free without installing any module ,it 's free , you just need to modify 2 line code easily, but you need do more work to add the ip address manually, the spammers send spam message from about 200 ips in my case , and i have shared my blacklist of this ips, https://www.vicoffers.com/en/blog/4_ban-prestashop-spam-contact-message.html Edited March 5, 2018 by VicOffers (see edit history)
