Force the country id of customers

Hi,

 

I´m having troubles with the geolocation by ip, is not working well, many ips shows the wrong country so to avoid that I would like to implement a homepage with a country selector (a index.html with a select country dropdown) that forces the country id of the customer in Presta so I´m sure that is showing the right price for that country.

Any thoughts on how to do this?

Have you updated GeoLite database? http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Geolocation+Preferences

Good point. I´ll do that for now.

Anyway I would like to try the other approach of forcing it , if it is possible to let the customer choose.
