I played and played accordinly with your code ... trying to convert it for 1.7 (with {Tools::displayPrice($product.price_without_reduction)} or things like $product->convertPrice($price_tax_exc) for example) ... but i just manage to display my specific price ... and not the general parent price as i want ...
