Categories and filter options not displayed on store front

Hi,

So i have installed PS 1.7 and did an import of products and categories from my old store. (Ps 1.3)

The major issue i have now is the categories and filter options is not showing up on store front, i dont know if this is a setting or if its supposed to be this way?

If i check site map i can from there get the following url for my "home" directory: http://xn--maskeradklder-kfb.nu/2-hem and this page looks like i want it to be with all categories showing on left side. But if i visit root url of my domain http://xn--maskeradklder-kfb.nu just this one product shows up that i set to "available for order". Is this supposed to be this way or why is not the filter options and categories shown on store front?
