Hobbie Posted January 30, 2018 Share Posted January 30, 2018 I've got a question about new_cookie_key parameter in file parameters.php in app/config What's the goal of this parameter ? Because I'm mirgrating one prestashop to another hosting, I will generate a new cookie_key and cookie_IV afterward I will update passwords in DB. But what about new_cookie_key? Do we have to update it to avoid confusing this parameter through two different websites ? Do I modify it ? Do I have to do other things afterward ? I'm doing a migration and want customers to use their same password as the old site but unsure where to to put the cookie key phrase from 1.6.1.24...old key or new key line?
