Product category module (product in same category)

Hello,

i like to make a small change to default products category module. This module shows products in the same category, based on "default category" of a product. 

If i have lets say HOME > CLOTHES > SHIRTS category tree, and i make CLOTHES default category, it will filter all product within CLOTHES category. But if i make default category of this product SHIRTS, it will filter only SHIRTS and also (and this is the problem) it change the URL of the product. 

 

I like to have this module modified, to filter product from SHIRTS category, despite of default category for this product being CLOTHES.
