{Solved} category product associations

I have been using prestashops previous versions for years. I am working now on updating to 1.7. 

I am having a problem with product associations showing up in wrong places.

Category b sub category of home has all my products showing. Category c has all the next sub products showing and category d has all those products. I want category d to not show in category b or c. In the bo I have correctly associated only one category but products are showing in multiple spots in the front end. I have checked the order and everything is the same as the old version which is working fine. Any clues that may lead me to fixing this problem? 

I sure would appreciate help. I have been focusing on trying to fix this part for weeks and have finally decided I am spinning my wheels.

Found out the answer from a generous helper. Need to disable the Faceted search as this is causing the error.
