Hi,

here's the test version of our last Prestashop shop. It's 90% complete though we still need to work on:

  • Cookie warning;
  • Translations;
  • Keyword search;
  • Layout of the header (aim is to have the simplest user interface);
  • Product grid: replace it by a list layout with more information;
  • SEO;
  • The mobile version.

Please provide any feedback that would help us to enhance our shop or fix bugs. Thank you in advance!

We plan to go live by January 2018.

The URL is:

https://fadeurparts.be/e-commerce/index.php

Username/password: prestashop/prestashop.

The site is available in French and English. Please note: there are a lot of errors in the technical translation of the products. Sorry for this!

Some tips:

  • You can filter products by tractor model. Either click on Browse Tractor or enter a model in the search box "2850, 6320..." on the right. John Deere models are designated with 4-digit numbers (2xxx, 4xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx...). The search box is ajax enabled.
  • You can search on OEM references. Examples are: RE68316, RE68230, AL38557...

Hi,

Congragulation for your new store. :)

I have feedback regarding below 4 points.

[1]. I see english store shows French message as per attach screen shot. Therefore 2 languages mix in front-office.
[2]. On Search box in top right OEM not readable proper as letter M goes out of box.
[3]. Social Media links are not visible in front-page.
[4]. SEO url frienly links not active and pages shows ids in browser.

Dear Zohaib,

thank you for your valuable comments. I agree with all 4. For the social media links, we were wondering how important it is. In an ideal world, we also would like to manage our communication on Facebook, but this is time consuming and we are a small company.

Thank you again,
Pierre
