Hi,

I want to upgrade my prestashop instance from version 1.7.1.0 to 1.7.2.3

I have install 1 click upgrade module and put shop on maintenance mode.

I did PRE-UPGRADE CHECKLIST and try to upgrade my instance but not working.

I am getting below message and upgrade not working.

Error: Unable to check md5 files

Any idea?

I am having the same problem, version 1.7.2.2 does not upgrade to 1.7.2.3. For me appears this message that I believe is the error (Error Unable to check md5 files). I have already looked at the folder and file permissions as requested and still can not proceed.

Can anyone help us with this problem?

  • 4 months later...

I change Permission of all files to 644 and folders to 755 and error went but after I started the process it gave me this error : [Ajax / Server Error for action upgradeDb] textStatus: "error " errorThrown:"Internal Server Error " jqXHR: " "

Now I lost my website and have to restore everything from backup.

everything in prestashop is really a pain!
