Google Sitemap link not working

Hi,

 

I have 1.6.1.1 and Google Sitemap module v3.2.1.

 

The link provided for automatic generation of the sitemap XML doesn't work: http://www.shopname.com/modules/gsitemap/gsitemap-cron.php?token=c71cd78ddc&id_shop=1  => It says the page doesn't exist.

 

The only way I can update the sitemap is by pressing the "Generate sitemap" button of the module, but that means I have to do it manually every day.

 

Any suggestion?

The show text in your link leads to question. I see "span sty...." which gives me the impression you have style parameters in the link. Check your link again and provide a correct URL.

Wow, I did't see that, it was due to a highlighter I'm using in Chrome

You server isn't able to handle files which end on .php. Most likely this is due to use of NGINX with some wrong configuration settings.

Why this guess?

I tried to open your start page with /index.php and the and and it also results in a 404 message.

It did NOT work when I tested it which makes me think your server setup isn't as it should be. I would digg into the webservers access and error logfile. Quite sure you find errors related to server-side restrictions.

Thanks, I contacted the hosting provider and it seems the file permissions were not set corectly.

The sitemap works fine now!
