Bad Configuration File

Need urgent help please, no matter how hard I try, cant get off this error. Have tried all the possible solution available online.

 

Trying to install a purchased theme on hockeyarmoury.com

 

Theme: sp_clickboom

It is customary to ask that to the guys from who you bought the theme. 

 

My guess: you tried to install the zip file they sent. But you need to unzip it and will among the extracted file another zip file that can be installed.

Thanks, tried everything, still cant get to work, The theme guys are asking more money for any support.

I might have missed it. But what is the prestashop version in use? And at what point exactely do you get this error.

And can you post the full and detailled error message?

And have you looked into your webservers error logfile? Can you post these errors as well if exist?

And yes - with all this details it still might be difficult to help you with a custom theme we don't know.

 

My guesses:

 

1. you haven't performed the correct installation action

2. file config.xml is missing.

3. You have a low upload_max_filesize in your php settings and can't upload the theme.

I was able to solve, download a new version of clickboom and it worked
