[Help] New Homepage tab displaying products

Hello everyone,

 

I am working on a prestashop website as a volunteer for a friend and I am actually struggling to make a module.

This module is a homepage tab which display a category of product. I've tried many and many solutions to the point that I threw away 100~120 h trying to find how to do this, and this is driving me crazy.

I decided to restart from scratch with a little bit of your help.

 

I have already done the tab, I have to display all the products of a category in it.

 

I can PHP and smarty.
