Start with 1.6.15 or with 1.7.2 prestashop version

Hi,

 

im reading about what version could be better to install in my new shop and im not sure if install the 1.6.15 that im already using in other shops or install now the new version of the 1.7.2. I have little experience till now with prestashop so i dont know if 1.7.2 version could give me more problems than the other.

 

I hope you can give me your opinion and help me to decide myself with what version should i install.

I would suggest staying with PS v1.6.1.x line (the latest is .15 but .16 should be out soon). 

 

However I have no idea which features you need specifically, what theme or modules you might want to use, and if you are willing to deal with the immaturity of the v1.7 line.

 

It might be best for you to install PS v1.7.2.0 and just test it out to ensure the features you need work properly, and that themes and modules that you require exist.
