How to stop Prestashop core auto upgrade?

Hello community,

 

second time in four month 1.6 Prestashop core upgrade causes deletion of all override files in my folder. Most of our integrated modules have override files, so the whole site is non-functional. Couldn't find any related topic here. 

 

Is there a solution to STOP any automatic UPGRADE? I want to manage all my core and module upgrades manually.

There are no automatic upgrades in Prestashop.  If you are experiencing something that is automatically upgrading your store, then you have likely install a module or component that is doing this.  You will need to investigate further what you (or perhaps someone you hired previously) has done.

 

Note: Using the official prestashop upgrade module, overrides are not deleted...  They may be disabled, but they are not deleted

Thank you guys! Although we had all upgrades turned off, we added some featured to block any attempts in the future.
