Best practice to extend Validate class?

I'm new to Prestashop dev and I'm just wondering what's the best practice to extend Validate class (to add new validation function for forms, ...)?

I suggest that you create a classes directory inside your module's directory, then put a FormValidation.php file in there that contains a FormValidation class that extends the Validation class, then inside your module, include classes/FormValidation.php then use FormValidation::yourValidation() in your module.
