How to handle database changes in different environments after PS upgrade?

Hi,

 

I was wondering what solution do developers use to handle database changes in context of upgrade in different environments?

 

Let's say you are running 2 (production & staging) Prestashop 1.7.0.0 instances on VPS and 1 PS 1.7.0.0 instance locally.

One day you decide to upgrade your PrestaShop to version 1.7.1.0. So, you just use 1 Click Upgrade module to upgrade it locally, check if everything works as expected and push code changes to project's repository. But how to deploy database changes to different environments (in this case staging & production)?
