The export function for languages only deals with the back office. I've heard from a couple of people that the translation is not complete. Underneath are the translated files. Just place them in the appropriate directory.

The PrestaShop import/export function is now fixed and can import/export every translations

PrestaShop 0.9.7 RC1 is available for release.  Translate away!

I see a few people translating into portuguese/brazilian. Most of the language is the same so if this can help please use the version. It will make a good starting point.

Carlos Ferreira of elojas.com.pt has kindly offered to correct any mistakes so a definitive version will come soon.

If anyone else can improve it feel free.

I think the translations could be co ordinated for a final version.

I dont see the point of doing double work.

oh yeah if you translate icons for the loja put your images in the /img/ folder of your translation.  8)

The Front-End is ready in Portuguese (PT).

In this week i think advanced for other parts of Translation.

I guess the people from elojas. All modules and all the backend are translated in the version above. It just needs some correcting. Maybe to save time it will help.

Its probably best to have two installs so that nothing gets lost
