Payment restrictions by customer groups malfunction

Hi,

 

I'm using presta 1.6.11-13 and have problem with the payment restrictions by a customer groups. The settings are done via administration panel, however the front end doesn't reflect them. I've tried to install 3 versions with the default theme and all 3 suffer from this malfunction.

 

I have a suspicion that it might be due to php.ini settings of the hosting. When installed on the local, the restrictions work correctly.

 

Do you have any hint what php.ini settings or anything else could cause this issue?
