My homepage showing error 500 after Installing Third party Horizontal Menu Module

Hi My homepage is not loading after installing a third party module called Horizontal mega menu. All the other pages don't have any problems.

Standard policy with an error in a module: ask the creator

 

 - As an interim solution you can delete the module by deleting its folder under the modules folder. That should fix your problem. (although you might first need to empty the cache)

 - you don't mention versions. Is the module you use fit for the Prestashop version that you use?

Hi Music Master,

 

thank you for replying.

 

I am using prestashop version 1.6

 

The module download page was saying it is compatible with 1.6

 

and I deleted the module from both backend and server after the problem occurred.

 

Still no response.
