Module or override to download (php) log file?

Hello

 

my log file is crowded by payment module. Sadly these entries are difficult to read. So I thought about download the logfile to desktop and then " AWK " it (linux command also available for Windows to manipulate input files). So I would have a (for me) much more readable version of the logs.

 

Prestashop allows to send log file or entries (I have to check) if appropriate error level is set via email.

So, there must be an " easy way " to add or edit this function to " download " file, right?

 

That are just my assumptions and hopes since I still have not learned how write modules

Probably this is truely a display that derives from the DB if I read Belini's comment.

define what "log file" means exactly.  Are you referring to the Logs page in the back office?  If so, that is not a "log file".

 

Please re-define or clarify what you are trying to accomplish
