mitjak Posted March 12, 2017 Share Posted March 12, 2017 Hi all I have two main categories: Women and Man. Each of this categories have sub-category Hats. So my category structure is: Women > Hats Men > Hats If I try to add a product to a sub-category Man > Hats I am getting this error: "Unable to update settings." It looks like v 1.7 doesn't allow to have 2 different categories with the same name? Because if I rename one of the sub-categories to Hats2 then it works. So if I have category structure like this: Women > Hats Men > Hats2 Then it works. Can someone please help me with these one? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This was not a problem in Prestashop 1.6, and it is very difficult for me to explain to my customer that sels shoes that it can`t have: Men > Boots Woman > Boots In order to work i had to make it this way: Men > Men Boots Woman > Woman Boots And this is redundand and very frustrating..
