MacEllie
Hi All, I upgraded to 1.6.1.11 recently. After that SSL is not working anymore. - The Certificate is installed correctly. - If I click the link in the back-end a secure connection is established. - If I switch SSL on and SSL on every page and save it, it says that it is saved (in the green bar on top), but in fact it is not saved. If I refresh the page, it is switched off again. Anyone any ideas? Or can I put something in the .htaccess-file to force PS to a https-connection? All help appreciated. Regards, Guido
rocky
You could try manually enabling it by editing the ps_configuration table of your database using phpMyAdmin, searching for the row with name PS_SSL_ENABLED_EVERYWHERE and then changing the value to 1. Guest
You have cleared all your prestashop caches? Even browser caches & try a different browser? Chrome at least can keep hold of previous data even when you do a full refresh (ctrl - F5) So try different browsers, cmputers etc to see if the issue is real or linked to your computer
MacEllie
Thanks haylau and rocky, Yes, I cleared all cache etc. This does not make a difference. If I check my database with phpMyAdmin I don't have a row PS_SSL_ENABLED_EVERYWHERE or any row with PS_SSL in it. Weird..

Guest
So I can confirm the SSL is not working for me either There can be issues with Chrome saving. Have you tried a different browser? PS_SSL_ENABLED_EVERYWHERE should be in the PS_Configuration table If it is not there you could try manually adding it
MacEllie
I ended up installing Prestashop 1.7 and it worked again..
just444
Guys, I need your help. Hostgator recently enabled ssl for all my shops and those on PS 1.6 stopped working properly. I was trying to enable ssl in the PS back office after the change on their side but I was getting a blank page after saving changes. I managed to adjust it in database (PS_SSL_ENABLED changed to 1) and it changed nicely to green YES in PS back office but ssl is still not working. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find the PS_SSL_ENABLED_EVERYWHERE in my db. How do I adjust the "Force the SSL on all the pages" directly in database for Prestashop 1.6.0.9?
