Has the search system changed in 1.6.1.11?

Updated to 1.6.1.11 a few days ago, and just noticed our search is not working as it used to

 

If I type in a specific product referece code we used to get the exact product and perhaps a fee close matches. Now the list is hundreds

 

I have rebuilt the index of course but that has not helped

 

If i type in "M10 Galvanised Nut" in the past I would get the M10 galvanised nut, but now I am see everything with galvanised and everything with nut and everything m10 - hundreds of products making the search pretty useless

 

What has changed and I can I revert?

I have noticed the exact same behavior. Unfortunately not only the search has been broken in v1.6.1.11. Available Quantity drill down in the stats. Removing Stock does not work anymore...but all these problems seem not to care prestashop...they rather work on a useless 1.7 which nobody ever will use.

I rolled bacl classes/search.php to a previous version and all is now as it should be

Just override .../classes/search.php? It didn't help

I did not override, I just replaced the file

After update to version 1.6.1.11.

Somebody knows if it was solved in 1.6.1.12 version?

Or I should replace classes/search.php from a previous version?

Hi, i iupdated to 1.6.1.12 and no. I had to restore the file from 1.6.1.10 to get the search back to normal.
