Multi-store not working

Hey guys,

 

I've followed a couple of tutorials for using the multi-store feature, and from what I can gather, Prestashop creates the store automatically after we set up the URL. Is this true? Because for me this is not happening.

 

Actually, I've followed all the tutorials until the end and I was not able to create a second store on the same BO.

And the documentation from Prestashop on this matter is not very enlightening. I've managed to create a new store group, and new shop, setting up my url where I want my second shop to be, but nothing is created, nothing happens..

 

So is it true or not the Prestashop automatically creates the second store for us after we set up the URL for the second store?

I would like to close this topic, since I have already found the solution. On a deeper analysis of the documentation, I have found that I need to point the second domain to my original Prestashop installation.

for cpanel you park (new cpanel uses alias) to the main domain

plesk (better) you alias new domain name to main domain
