homepage "on sale" tab for PrestaShop 1.7

This is absolutely free plugin for brand new prestashop 1.7 and it allows to create new "tab" inside feature called "homepage tabs" (details about here: homepage tabs feature). This tab will contain products from your shop that currently have dropped prices (special price).

Hi. Is it possible to show the recently modified products, not the latest added? In admin area this is checked for ps. Thank you.

LE: now I notice that it shows the most expensive items. No clue why and how to change that... On pricesdrop page I managed to modify order_way and order_by and the page shows the most recently modified products.

Guess it could be related to this code in homeonsaletab.php, changing the 0 value to 1 or two modifies the products shown.

    public function getProducts()
    {
        $nProducts = Configuration::get('HOME_OS_NBR');
        $products_for_template =  Product::getPricesDrop((int)$this->context->language->id, 0, (int)$nProducts;

        return $products_for_template;
    }

Solved!  Added to classes/product.php - PS 1.7.6

// Implicit declaration of constant called department with value 'date_upd'

define('date_upd', 'date_upd');

An modified this code:

    public static function getPricesDrop(
        $id_lang,
        $page_number = 0,
        $nb_products = 10,
        $count = false,
        $order_by = null,
        $order_way = null,
        $beginning = false,
        $ending = false,
        Context $context = null
    )

to

    public static function getPricesDrop(
        $id_lang,
        $page_number = 0,
        $nb_products = 10,
        $count = false,
        $order_by = date_upd,
        $order_way = null,
        $beginning = false,
        $ending = false,
        Context $context = null
    )

Wanted to also modify  order_way to descending, but there's no need apparently, it it by default showing the latest modified product. Hope this helps someone and hopefully it won't break anything in the shop :)).
