Peston Welcome not working

Hi

 

I've installed 1.7 several times, using 0 - 4.  Never have I managed to get the Welcome to function.  After I install and go to the dashboard, it says "Welcome to your shop!", I click the button and hangs.

 

I've tried this on my desktop using Firefox and Chrome and IE (latest versions).  No go.

 

I suspect this module only works on mobile devices...

Can anyone get this to work?  If so how..what device..what browser?

it works both for mobile and for standard devices (desktop)

 

 

 

 

problem you described is (probably) related to some javascript issues.

To find the errors related to your problem, it will be necessary to analyse browser console output

1. go to page where you've got the issue
2. turn on browser console (in chrome: ctrl+shift+j)
3. clear console
4. refresh the page
5. analyse console output
6. you will probably see errors there
7. copy-paste them here as a code, or just prepare some screenshot
