Sagepay Module issue, Auto generated ,htaccess file stopping php

Recommended Posts

I have an issue that is driving me and the module dev mad.

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP!!

The issue is as follows:

I have installed the presta changeo sagpay module and all was working well.

Then all of a sudden i get a 5006 error so i get on to sagepay and changeo and finally after a week we have pinpointed the issue.

If i delete the the files and upload the files again it stops it for maybe 15mins-5days

The problem was with an auto generated .htaccess file that keeps appearing in the folder with this code

AddType text/html .php

This then make the php not function in the folder and stops the plugin working.

so i comment it out and it works fine again.

So my solution was chmod the file so it can't be replaced. This seems to work but then after a few hours i get a 403 forbidden error on the files

so i go in and delete the .htaccess file again.

AND THE LOOP STARTS AGAIN!!

the host say this is nothing to do with them but i am not sure. The developers, who has been very helpful says this file isn't part of their code.

I am on cloud hosting with vidahost and it is using memcache

Can anyone help me?

Hi tmdesigns

We have the exact same error / issue using the same module. Did you ever resolve it in the end?

Which folder was the auto generated .htaccess file found?

Kind regards

Alastair

Hi,

That's a shame, no one ever really wanted to help me on this but I got it to finally stop. The developer was useless at providing me with an answer, although they were very helpful in identify the bug.

What I did is opened the .htaccess file and commented out the

AddType text/html .php

then changed permissions on the file and it seemed to go away

The file was sat in the modules/sagepay folder

Thanks for the swift reply, and sorry to hear that nobody reached out when you had this issue. These forums can be hit and miss.

I can't find an .htaccess file in that folder, so perhaps I have a different issue altogether - it's driving me nuts.
