No pictures after changing of theme (tried almost everything)

Hello, I am using Prestashop on default theme for over a year now.

Today I purchased the new theme from TemplateMonser.

I followed the "installation" tutorial for running e-shop (just copied the "theme" and "modules" folder to my FTP account).

I changed the theme location in the Prestashop backend, installed and turned on all new modules, changed the hooks, and so on.

My main problem is that there are no images (categories, products,....) in the frontend.

There is everywhere question mark image. But for example when I mouse hover product, the question mark will change for a normal image for a second. When I open some product on frontend I see for example 4 "question mark" pictures (the same number of images, as set in the backend). I did not change the "img" folder in my FTP. There are several thousands of images....

I tried:

- delete htaccess file, and regenerate it with turned off/turned on "friendly URL"

- empty smarty cache, change almost all settings

- regenerate thumbnails of categories images (I am unable to regenerate products images, because backend will sign out after few minutes of working...)

- change the images names in images settings, and then regenerate (with "_default", without "_default", and so on)

- change permissions to several folders in "img" to 777

 

All without any success....my shop is now 24 hours offline.

Can you please someone help?

My PS version is 1.6.1.9

Ok, can you try to go in Theme Configurator module, and go to the "View" option of Display Live Configurator.

Then choice another theme color, save it. 

 

Also if you have Video background module enabled, video selector should be: " #tmhtmlcontent-tc-item-1 ",    - !!NOT  #body!!

And Video path should ends with "  /  " (slash)

( in some reason this can be reason of question mark images )

 

Thats a tips for now.

 

If that does not help, we can try to change some controller files.

Donnerberg thank you for your help.

I tried to change the theme color in the live configurator. The color changed successfully, but the images are still not there.

I am not using Video background module (its not on the modules list). There is only TM Product videos module, which does not have the selectors you mentioned. Anyway I disabled this module, but without any impact to the images :-(
