Product changes not always updated

Hello,

 

I have a problem when I want to make changes on my product in admin: sometimes the changes are correctly updated, but not always... It's very strange. Any idea of what may be causing this issue ?

I edited /admin-url-adressen/themes/default/template/controllers/products/helpers/form/form.tpl and it solved my problem.

But I wanted to know: If I upgrade, these changes will be lost. 

I think it doesn't matter because this bug was fixed in version1.6.1.9, right ?

I just wanted to make sure.

 

Also, I tried to upgrade to 1.6.1.9 but couldn't find this version. 

And I'm not sure if the theme I'm using is compatible, so I'm going to keep my version.

 

Last thing: I've been struggling with 404 issues for days and weeks... Is there a chance you could help me ?
