Naldinho
I'm moving my store from shared hosting to VPS. Debating the options. The site is fairly low traffic but despite that it is ridiculously slow. The specs for the VPS are whatever is necessary -- cost of hosting is really reasonable.I was thinking php 5.6 and MariaDB. PrestaShop 1.6 with the option of going to 1.7 once some essential modules are deemed as compatible. 1) Nginx as a reverse proxy for Apache or Apache Event + fastcgi-proxy + php-fpm? 2) APCu or memcache? 3) Is Varnish worth bothering with? 4) is HHVM worth bothering with? 5) If the store is North America only is a CDN worth bothering with?
