New installation 1.6.1.7 mails don't work

Please check if you have configured a working SMTP connection on your store. You can check the same by accessing the following path in your back office:

 

Advanced Preferences -> Email

 

This SMTP configuration is responsible for all the emails that are sent.

 

You can also test the configuration by navigating to the following path:

 

Advanced Preferences -> Email -> TEST YOUR EMAIL CONFIGURATION
