Not receiving emails on confirmation orders

Hello for some reason I'am not receiving confirmation emails for orders by users, I did everything I could to try and fix it by going into the mail settings and setting them to my custom email with my host, I tried uninstalling mail alert and then reinstalling it and it doesn't work. Can someone please help me? Also my host doesn't support SMTP. :( I'll provide anything you need, thank you.
