Problem accessing Modules in backoffice

Hello everyone!

 

I'm having a problem using Prestashop. After installing the G2APay module, i'm not able to acces my modules in the backoffice. When I try to acces the module section, I get a blank page reporting this error:

 

[PrestaShop] Fatal error in module file :/var/www/vhosts/40/173192/webspace/siteapps/Prestashop-408838/htdocs/modules/g2apay/g2apay.php:

syntax error, unexpected '['

 

As result of this error, I'm also not able to switch this module off. As a result of this problem, my hole webshop is totally useless at this moment. Can anyone please help me fix this problem?

not sure about the module in question, as far as it concerns debugging the module...

 

but to get module page to work again:

 

using FTP or hosting control panel file manager

 

go to modules/g2apay

 

and rename to modules/_g2apay

 

This will get your modules page working  again.  WARNING: if module loaded overrides into your shop you will need to manually remove them as you cannot use module 'uninstall'.  Look at modules/g2apary, if folder overrides exist, then within that  folder you  will find overrides that have been moved to overrides/xxx folder.  You will need to delete these files.

 

Note: always back  up...either at file or full file level.
