make copy of site (test purpose)

I have a PS 1.5 based site.

I would like to take a complete copy in order to test some things out .

 

Is there a simple way to do this?

Copy the site to your hard drive, (FTP)  Export a backup of the database

Now create a subfolder named something like 1.5test, upload the site files to this folder.

Create a new database and import the backup database to it.

Now in the test shop folder go to config and edit the settings.inc.php file and change the  _db_name_, _db_user_ and _db_passwd_ to the new database name

(you can use the same user and password as the original) 

 

Now you should have a complete test site, log into the BO will be at   yourdomain.com/1.5test/admin (or whatever your admin is named).

Go straight to the SEO&URLs Page and change the Base URI from   /    to    /1.5test/    and save.

 

That's it.

Sorry for the late respons, I've been busy with something else.(not PS related)

Can you tell me how ( which menu or module) I must use to create a datbase and import de backup
