REFO.cz 1 Posted July 13, 2012 (edited) Hi guys, thank you. I find this module really superb. There is only one little thing it is missing - and that is date. However, thanks again! EDIT: One little recommendation. If you chose to change in your .htaccess "content" to something else, the module would link to a wrong page from deeper CMS posts (reading the post). So easily edit in blockcmsnews.tpl <p align="right"><a href="news.php"> (....) to <p align="right"><a href="http://YOURDOMAIN/news.php"> (....) ALSO you need to do it with the item under foreach in the same blockcmsnews.tpl Hope this helps, it took me 30 minutes to find this:) Edited July 13, 2012 by REFO.cz (see edit history)

artelx 0 Posted July 25, 2012 (edited) Hi! I've just used this module for PS 1.4.7, and it's good. But is it possible to override file news.tpl in my own theme? I've copied this file to /themes/my_theme/modules/blockcmsnews/ , but I dont see changes in this file on front office, PS still uses news.tpl from its modules directory. I assume, that I need to change the file news.php in this line $smarty->display(_PS_MODULE_DIR_.'blockcmsnews/news.tpl'); to use file news.tpl from my theme, not from modules directory of PS, but I can't figure out what exactly I need to change. Can anybody help me with this? Thanks Edited July 25, 2012 by artelx (see edit history)

fildin 0 Posted March 19, 2013 Nice modul, thank you guys. One thing that I adjusted file blockcmsnews.php ...... row 154: .... ORDER BY c.id_cms DESC LIMIT '.$config['PS_CMS_LIMIT']); change to: ...ORDER BY c.id_cms ASC LIMIT '.$config['PS_CMS_LIMIT']); This will sort the list of news from the newest to the oldest. ITU 1 Posted September 5, 2013 Hi, I have PrestaShop v1.4.4.1 and I'm confused, cos I don't know how to install this mod. When I open arc I see folder called blockcms but I have already such one in shop folder. I tried to rename original one and put new one instead but then there was no CMS module in back office. I tried to replace files in old folder but then shop crashed. What is correct instalation procedure? I put news.php into root folder but without no resault. Please help.

yuriy.lutchenko 0 Posted December 29, 2013 this is a joke? and where the controls module? with this module you can turn your static content (CMS) into news block on left/rightnothing fancy in here, im just trying to maximize the used of CMS already provided by presta-teammaybe i can say this is the easiest implementation to have news block look-a-like you can go to chenoel.com to see it in actionplease try it and gimme some report WARNING:this module is a thankyouware so say thank you is a must and send some donation is a hope
