Multistore URL's redirect

I am trying to set up a multistore environment for my webshop. (PS v1.5.4)

 

For the first domain everything works fine. 

For the second domain, the index page loads as expected, however all the links to products or categories return an error 500. 

 

The error logs don't help me that much:

PHP Fatal error:  Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in bla/bla/bla/public_html/classes/ObjectModel.php on line 1525

 

Any idea what might cause this issue?

 

 

Also, on the second domain the url for the root category is added to the url, which is not done on the first domain.

Maybe this is related, I don't know...

To be 'brutally honest', 1.5.6.2 and higher are the only 1.5 versions usable.

 

Before doing MultiShop, you should first consider upgrading to latest 1.6.

 

Note: I do not recommend MultiShop except when you are going to multiplex 'like' content on one gTLD (.com/.eu/.etc) and one or more ccTLD's (.fr/.de/.es) as example.
