Convert from HTTP to HTTPS

I run a multistore with domeinpointers to the environment so that these are taken up into the language module as a separate URL.

www.shop1.nl/4-winkel - NL - Head

www.shop1.com/4-shop - UK - Same location different url and language

So everything will directed from 1 main url and managed stock.

 

The shop turned perfectly at http domain, now we have successfully applied for a multi-domain SSL, and we wanted to convert the site to HTTPS, normally easy with DA everything copied to the back office running directly, the website on the secure area gives a 403 error.

When I forwarded the domains through the DA site redirection I'm in a loop and I get the error to many redirects.

 

The error lies probably in the .htaccess files so deactivated both http (old) and https , still error.

I would like to customize the store URL in the back office to https, however, i can not alter this in the back office.

 

Advanced Settings -> Multi-store -> url options shop

 

 

Can anyone help me on my way up to a constant update regarding updates or else to bypass manual.

When i alter the the HTTP into HTTPS in the .htaccess file i can see the shop but don't have the images or the SSL certificate.

Did you enable SSL on the back office preferences page?
