linked select input ( Country or category )

I need to add a field for country in informations.tpl template. I had no luck searching how to achieve this. This field has to bring the country_id from the database, but show the countries name in the select input.

 

This is the first of my problems. I have another with a similar behavior to achieve.

 

I found an excellent tutorial from prestashop website that teach how to add mulitlanguage fields. Is there any tutorial similar to add "select input" from tables that have languages? (like country)
