Problem user "demo" and permiss

Hi all! thanks in advance.

 

I want create an user "demo" that only can SEE module configuration but not save and change configuration of this. I read prestashop documentation and say that this is possible with "view" permis, then I do next:

1. Create profile called "Demo users".
2. Create a demo user with this profile.
3. Edit permissions to this profile; I only put "view" permiss to "Modules and Services" and "view" permiss to my personal module. See images screenshot!
4. I do login with this user, I only can access to page "Modules and Services", great, I only see the module that I put "view" permiss, also great, BUT when I press in configure I receive error: "You do not have permission to configure this module."

If I put permiss "edit" to this module then I can entry but can change his configuration!! (logic because I put edit permiss).

 

This a bug of Prestashop? or I done some wrong??

I think this is by design. The edit permission for modules here means to "change configuration".

I do not think you can implement what you wanted by permission settings, you may need to modify some code to control the access,

Then what use has the permiss "view" in modules?? Are you saying that it is useless??

Without "view" permission, I do not think you will be able to see Modules tab.
