customer groups and theme problem

Unfortunately I have a problem I can not solve by activating the option " customer groups " graphical theme goes doll disappear from the home page slide , products , etc ... by turning off all the groups back to normal ... can someone help me ?

Not very clear what is your problem and question.

Where do you activate "customer groups" and for what purpose?

for example, product category you can set customer group access, payment module customer group access, shipping carrier customer group access, ....

and category group access will affect product appearance.

I have the exact same problem. When I activate customer groups in Parameters and performance, the whole front office goes down. only logo and some CSS colors are showing. If I deactivate, site returns to normal.

Running a 1.7.4.3 version

Anybody else had the issue or found a solution to it?
