epdq cpi and shared ssl

Recommended Posts

Hi

I recently got the EPDQ CPI module to use for online payments, which i believe i need to run with a dedicated ssl cert.
but now i discover that my host ... streamline.net only supplies shared ssl is there any way around this as i think presta only works with dedicated ssl

any help welcomed...thanks in advance....

Hi Ziggy,

Sorry about that?! and thanks for reporting the problem.

After troubleshooting and experimenting I've worked out what's caused this. The ePDQ EncTool.e script only works with non-SSL connections. I've uploaded a new version v2.1 - please try this instead - should sort it out for you. If all works great please leave some feedback on the SourceForge project homepage for me!

Thanks.

Depending on how the DNS records or setup for your domain name ePDQ may be picking up the referral URL from your server as being http://webaddress.co.uk/modules/epdqcpi/validation.php instead of http://www.webaddress.co.uk/modules/epdqcpi/validation.php - try changing your POST URL to not include the www. in your ePDQ CPI Admin tool and see if that helps. If not please create a support ticket from the SourceForge project support tracker page.
