A module that allows stock made to order

Hi,

I setting up my prestashop install and I need some way to manage stock as made to order (we hold no stock ) this is how we deal with orders. I thought I got around it by allowing the back order in the BO, but this means the customers will receive a email claiming the item is on back order which is confusing for the customer.

Is there any module or work around in the BO that could be used to manage stock as made to order?

Suggestions welcome.

You can change the wording of the order state to anything youwant. So change "On Back Order" to "Your order is now being made for you"

Also you can use the"In stock" / "Out of Stock" wording to give customer a clue to timescales. 

 

So when out of stock our site says "Made to order in 1-3 days"

 

This is done in each product in the quantities tab (if timescales are different for each product or you could use translations if it is the same for every product

Yeah I'd done that already, it's customer back order mail outs that were the prob, cheers Ron!
