removing trailing slash

Hi guys,

I'm working with Prestashop 1.6. and wondering if someone could refer to some instructions for removing the trailing slash.

For example, instead of typing

www.domain.com/product/

I want my customers to be able to type

www.domain.com/product

Can this be done both ways? With and without trailing slash?

I'm using a pretty urls module on my site - don't know if that would affect instructions or conflict.

I've been looking on the web for instructions, but I haven't found anything useful pertaining to prestashop 1.6 and I'm so scared of messing up my site. :)

Gratefully,

Just looking for this answer as well. It's really disappointing that there isn't a solution for this.

If someone types in the address example.com/shop they will get a 404 because they didn't enter the slash at the end...

And only a programmer would think to maybe add the slash

This is not good UX

Any suggestions?
