How to display products in specific catagory on left column

I want to show the product of a category on the left at home page and product page.

 

what module should i use?

I don't think there is any pre-made module for it. Is it a static product or do you need to specify which one to show in each category?
You are going to need a custom solution in any case

I want to show number of products in a specific category, like those new products. top seller modules, but instead of automated, i want to select my choice of category

In this case you really need a custom module, unless you can find an existing one (likely paid) that does exactly what you want
