Changed theme, images gone

I changed my theme this morning and most of the product pictures disappeared. They seem to still be in the catalog but not visable in the shop. What is probably causing this and what might a solution be?

Most likely cause: this theme uses different image names, like 123-large-dm.jpg instead of 123-large-default.jpg. You can easily check in the source code what image name is used.

 

Regenerate images and - if that isn't enough - regenerate .htaccess are the most likely solution.

 

 What puzzles me is that you write that MOST of the product images disappeared. That suggests that some stayed. Could it be that those are older products that ran previously under that theme?

Thank you for your reply. I regenerated the images using a module from the add store. Now everything works perfectly fine!

Regenerating images is a function of the menu. You don't need addons for that.

I tried to do it the traditional way, but everytime I did it crashed. Even when tweaking the php.ini-file, it wasn't able to follow through. Thank you for your input.

Prestools can regenerate images too.
