Guest checkout issue : wrong URL, page not found error

jt49411

Question

Hi,

I noticed today that there is a problem navigating in the shopping cart when checking out as a guest.

I use the standard (5 steps) checkout.

When on the page where the customer selects the delivery method (= step 4 out of 5), the "back" button directs to an inexisting page and generates a page not found error.

The wrong URL currently used is : eclairage-bureaux.fr/commander&multi-shipping=

In think that the URL should be : eclairage-bureaux.fr/commander?step=1&multi-shipping=

Is this a bug that PrestaShop needs to fix ?

Is there a workaround for me to easilly implement ?    (I am not an expert, my developer skills are very limited)

Thanks for your help.

Hi tuk66,

I see why you mention the "nostotagging" module.   Your reply is not about the problem this thread is about, it's about the problem the user bricoaix reported in a reply.

It would have been preferable if he/she had created a new discussion thread instead ...

I understand you are quite experienced in PrestaShop, maybe you have any suggestion for solving the issue I reported ?

(guest checkout navigation issue, page not found)

Thanks

Thanks tuk66.

I just wonder, am I the only one having this problem on the PrestaShop Cloud ?

In your opinion, could this problem be related to the template and/or modules I use or is this an issue that PrestaShop should solve ?

Hi tuk66,

I finally installed a module for creating and managing redirections, and pointed the wrong URL to the right one.

Although it's not the ideal solution, this workaround works fine with me.

Thank you for your time and effort helping me.

Best regards
