Add sort to Manufacturer page

Hi guys

Add a search and can't find a solutions for this so hopefully someone can help me.

Basically, all I want to do is a sort function (essentially same as the product sort) to the manufacturers page to enable people to sort by alphabetical order: A-Z & Z-A.

If this is possibly and someone could advise what to do that would be great.

I'm not great at programming, just html and css so this is beyond me and is a request by my client.

So you want to allow the customer to sort the list of manufacturers by name ascending and descending? I just checked the code and oddly, there is already code that adds sorting to the manufacturer and supplier pages, but it isn't displaying for some reason. I've reported it as a bug here.

I'm not sure if that's quite what I mean.

If you look at a category page - http://www.prestashop.com/demo/3-accessories-ipod - you have the sort by in the top right. You can choose name: A-Z or name: Z-A

I would like something similar to this on the Manufacturer page - http://www.prestashop.com/demo/manufacturer.php

Is this possible?
