yannbout
Hi guys! I actually have an online store hosted on a small asp shopping cart (Vpasp), definitively looking to migrate to Prestashop. However, we just redesign responsive the whole website few months ago, and we would like to keep mostly the same design and save money on the conceptualisation part. What would be the best practice in your opinion ? 1) Hire a dev to develop a Prestashop template from scratch, mostly copy cat of our actual website ? 2) Find a nice and supported theme on ThemeForest i.e. , and ask a dev to customize it to look closely to our actual website ? --- Also, I'm very new here.. Does the custom theme will need to be regulary updated in order to follow up with new prestashop versions and modules ? Thank you so much in advance for your ideas ! : )
Dh42
I would do number 2. The reason being is that the time involved in making a custom theme is a lot more than you think and would be a lot more expensive than you think.
