What Is My Alerts In Account ?

It is the correct answer.  The Mail Alerts module adds the "My Alerts" option to the customers My Account page/block

The module implements a few features for both the merchant and the customer

For the merchant

  1. Send an email for new orders received
  2. Send an email when a product is out of stock
  3. Send an email when a customer returns a product

For the customer:

  1. Allows the customer to configure an alert when an out of stock product is available again
  2. Send an email to the customer when their order changes.

You are totally right. But I´m going to add this:

  2. Send an email to the customer when their order changes. (and the product disappears from the MY ACCOUNT-MY ALERTS)
